Madara Raislija (Riseley), trading as Madara's Beauty Salon ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our website, online booking system and online shop at madaras.cy.

Data we collect

Booking information: name, email, phone, selected treatment and appointment time, collected via the online booking system.
Order information: name, billing address, email, phone and payment confirmation, collected via WooCommerce for gift card, voucher and bundle purchases.
Messages: any details you share with us via WhatsApp, email or the contact forms.
Technical data: cookies and basic analytics (see our Cookies Policy).

How we use your data

To confirm and manage your appointments and send reminders by SMS and email.
To process payments and deliver gift cards and vouchers.
To respond to your enquiries.
To meet our legal and tax obligations as a registered sole trader in the Republic of Cyprus.

Legal basis

We process your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of contract performance (booking/order), legal obligation (tax and accounting records) and, where relevant, your consent.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors that operate our booking, payment and email systems, and with Cypriot authorities where legally required. Payment card details are never stored by us — they are handled securely by our payment processor.

Retention

We keep booking and order records for as long as required by Cyprus tax law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise these rights, email hello@madaras.cy.
